WELCOME TO POLILOGUE

Polilogue was a weekly dialogue that took a critical look at the political journalism ecosystem. It was a podcast where we shared ideas, reflection, and constructive criticism of our favorite American institution: the press.

From 2017 to 2022, we examined the Sunday morning political shows. We believed they were American institutions in their own right. We covered legislative accomplishments like the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of the Trump Administration and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of the Biden Administration. We analyzed the coverage of midterm elections, presidential debates, a presidential election, two(!) presidential impeachments, an insurrection, and not to mention a multiyear(!!) global pandemic. We still love the Sunday political shows — and have a lot to say about them.

But after five years, we were ready for a new lens to examine the political journalism ecosystem.

So, we rebuilt the show to focus on a single topic for a new season: How the Media Covers the United States Supreme Court.

We shared what we learned, what we were raging about, and what we desperately would like to see in future SCOTUS coverage.

We released our last episode of Polilogue in December 2022. Thank you to all of our listeners!
