Episode 63: McCain’s Last Rebuke
John McCain had four different services to honor his life. Correspondingly, the Sunday talk shows continued their conversations from last week about the recently passed senator. However, these conversations went beyond McCain’s service; each show also discussed the elephant that was in the room of every single service: President Donald Trump. President Trump was not invited to attend any service, but that doesn’t mean his absence wasn’t noticed-- or commented on.
On this week's episode of Polilogue, we discuss McCain's funeral services and what kind of rebuke they made about our current political discourse. We also discuss Brett Kavanaugh’s upcoming nomination hearings and the 2018 midterm elections.
